I am having a dinner party to celebrate my WO-MYNhood. I feel as though it’s time to reconnect, friends. It’s been hard to leave the “‘hood” much lately since so many good vibes abound. The “Drive,” as it is nicknamed, is so wonderful and the social conscious of the community is astounding. My new West-African friend Nadia showed me how grow a fresh herb garden out of material composted entirely from gently used feminine hygiene products. If everyone did this we would reduce our carbon emissions by an annual average of 4%! I figure it might be time to invite some of you over to see the new “pad” and have an enlightening get-together*. Sobertober is over. It’s now time to celebrate the beautiful upcoming winter, likely a time where I will be consumed with drunkenly manipulating men into going home with me before I haphazardly hide the mascara stained pillows behind the bed spending quality time with my fellow sisters and learning macrame!
